| Hello everyone! Hope you are doing great! God Loves You & I do too! WOW! Another one of those suffering for Christ days! But they are soo worth it! Last night, college worship, AMAZING! I tell you, I'mma have to start wearing some steel-toe boots to college worship! HA! WOW! I just can't get enough out about last night, if you didn't make it, please ask, I'll tell! It was amazing! Psalm 15. Saw alot of great people, met a few new people! All of wyou who know who you are, I thank God for you every day! I love me some friendships! They're such an awesome gift from God!
Well I hope everyone is having a great and wonderful God-filled day! Search for Him, H'e searching for you!
God Bless You! | | |
| Hey everyone! Hope your life is going swell! Mine is going great! God is opening up alot of things in my life right now! Keep me ikn your prayers! It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Had a good week since the last time I updated! No really highlights except last week at college worship, other than that a pretty normal week but it was good! Saturday night was actually great! Went to youth rally at the Ag Center in Meridian! Got filled up on some Jesus and got some praise on so that was awesome! Sunday the same! I got a couple of speaking engagements coming up so if you would, keep me in your prayers once again!
In 1 John 1:5-10 it tells us that God is light! In him there is not darkness! But verse 10 is ever so real! If we claim to be without sin we make God out to be a liar! That's some serious stuff to call God a liar! But we see if every day, in and out of life, even in the churches. Most Christians are satisfied with being a "church member", a number! I'm tired of seeing that personally and I know God is! He talks about it too much in the Holy Bible to not be tired of it! Those that confess with their mouths but their hearts are from me! There's a church member there! Show up, sing a couple hymns or even maybe a praise song or two! Maybe those dose off during the message or actually maybe they give input on the message! But do you ever see them giving input to someone in Wal-Mart, or the mall, or anywhere outside the "comfort zone", the walls of the church, the shadow of the steeple! You hear it all the time but I think it's ever so true and evident in this day in time, if Jesus walked in the church, some people would shy him away! We can confess inside the walls but what about on the mission field?, where we are supposed to be confessing Him! I think Todd Agnew give a pretty good example about Jesus and how He lived his life and proclaimed the love of God everywhere he went: Jesus would hang out on Beale St. before He would most churches! Don't get me wrong some churches need some Jesus in the middle of them, Todd Agnew once again, Need a little more of Him in the middle of me, the middle of the church!
Well I've vented and give a little bit of The Word out! Hope everyone has a blessed day!

| Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day so far and been spending time with God throughout the day! So this week is going to be great! I changed the schedules at work (one advantage of being supervisor ) so I get off at 2 every day now, M-F. Awesome! Monday went over to EC for BSU and had a great time! I don't know about anyone else because I can only see the outside but God judges the heart, but I know that message was for me! You know even if you pick your feet off the ground, God still finds a way to step on them! Amazing! Went to revival last night! Got filled up! Going to College worship tonight and I cannot wait for that! Going back to revival on Thursday and Friday night and I'm sure I'll be having some good Christian fellowship with some good Christian friends in between and after those times! It's going to be a good week tater!
You know we have such a gracious God! God deserves everything we have! Speaking more on the lines of tithing, God deserves 100% of everything we make! But how gracious is He?! He only "requires" 10% of it. God is soo good! Don't think you're getting off the hook though because I can promise you we will be held accountable for how we spent that other 90% throughout our life! Do everything in the name of Jesus! Yes, that means even spending money!
We don't own anything! It all belongs to God! It doesn't matter if you have this much real estate, this house, this car, this degree, or anything! It doesn't matter if you wrote a deed and have it at the bank saying something belongs to you! Psalms 24:1 reads, 'The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.' I don't know about the way you think, but that tells me that God wrote his deed first!
God hears a humble prayer in a much diffrent tone/pitch than He hears a prayer of boastfulness. Read Luke 18:9-14. You'll see who goes home justified in the eyes of God. An illustartion of the way we should come to God: We should come to his back door and beg for just the scraps of mercy that is left He can give! That takes all the boastfulness away completely! Luke 18:13, "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'" In the old testament, beating your breasts with your hands symbolized that you were a sinner and were coming clean, you were laying everything abreast to God so He might wash and clean you!
This is kinda long but let me throw one more quick thought for you to ponder on! I was raised Baptist. I still consider myself Baptist but only because that is the denomination that I agree the most with! There are alot of things in the Baptist denomination I do not agree with as well as other denominations! I love being able to worship with other believers though, and especially other denominations! It opens up a whole new lifestyle that is "not bad" that the Baptists keep us blinded from for so long! You ever had someone pull a watch on you? Well, some may have not but I have been speaking alot of places and just about every Baptists church either has a clock hanging in the back of the sanctuary or someone down front keeps glancing at their watch once you get past the 11:45 mark. Everyone says you have to be done by 12. Why is that? I'll tell you why! When they get up in the morning they plan their day! They plan their entire day! They just happen to throw church in their plans that day! So they kinda just casually stop by the church as they go about their busy scheduled day to just show up and be seen! But when someone goes past 12 (hence, messing their schedule up) they get angry. You can't do that they say! Well I'll tell anyone that wants to hear it that I'll do whatever God wants me to do on hHis time frame! I don't have a problem with people leaving in the middle of my messages! Been there, had it happen! I'm not condemning you, just letting you know that church should not just be a stop during our busy scheduled day! In relation, why do we schedule when we will do our bible studies/daily bible reading? Grant it, there are better times than others in your life to do these things, but is this becoming a habit more than an experience with God? If we're spending time with God throughout the entire day as we are supposed to, would we have to pick out a particular time to sit down and "schedule" a meeting with God?! Just a thought!
I hope everyone has a blessed day! And to some I'll see ya tonight and can't wait!
God Bless Everyone!

| Hey friends! I know I already updated today but I just come across this and it made alot of sense in my life right now! God is sooooo awesome!
Awesome quote I just read... "Struggle is a sign that you have not yet been conquered."
Wow. I need to read that again.
Maybe every day. But only as I remember the Scriptures...
"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." --Jesus (John 16:33)
Can't you just imagine a little grin on Jesus' face as He said that last line?? We are not conquered!! HE has conquered the world!
THAT's why we trust HIM!
Do you realize that the name "Israel"-- the name God gave to His chosen people means "he who struggles with God"? He KNEW we would struggle with Him, because He is so much bigger, stronger, and wiser than us and we try so hard to do things on our own. Of course, when we try to do things on our own, we fail and we are tempted by the devil to think that we are failures and there's no way that God could love us when we sin...
But do you realize that you have COMPLETE POWER over the devil's schemes whenever you put your faith in Christ?? The only reason the devil tries so hard to make the tribulation in your life seem more than you can handle is because he is trying to COVER HIS OWN DEFEAT! All you have to do is RESIST him in Jesus' name and He will run away!
"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
James 4:7
"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." --Jesus (John 16:33)
Israel = he who struggles with God
"Struggle is a sign that you have not yet been conquered."
THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

| Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed day! Mine is going great other than the fact that I've been up for the past 30 and got a long time before I can even then about going to be too! Last night was awesome, I will have to admit! The whole day was great! I hate to just go on and on but God has blessed me so much in the last day it is unreal! It is amazing how God can speak to you, even sitting at work not doing much of nothing and it is even more amazing how much easier life is when you are in God's will. I got paid yesterday, found out I got really nice raise (most of you know my financial struggles), went to church last night at Clarke Venable and had a little worship time (OH YAY! We got our praise on, God was so present), went to Coty's and cooked some steaks on the grill which I think turned out just wonderful (the medium-well's didn't turn out how I liked them but I think everyone was satisfied!), watched the USC/Texas National Championship Game (Amazing game, really awesome, and Texas won, OH YAY!), then watched some Best of Will Ferrill 2, watched Rush Hour 2, and then talked about everything under the moon last night with some awesome friends! Yea, yesterday was awesome! So after all that was over with I ended up getting to my house at like 5:10 this morning so I dropped my sister off and went on to work and this is where I sit now: At work, and very very tired but I'm going to make it! Then tonight when I get off, I'm going back to Decatur to the basketball game and then just chill out and whatever else happens tonight (maybe some Phase 10, you neer know)!
God is so awesome! He has blessed me with some awesome friends! Even when I was in college and especially in high school, when the weekend came, there was noone to do anything with! There was just noone that could continue to help me grow in my walk in every day fun! Now I have that! Thanks alot to my sister of course, she's going to college now so they're mainly her people but I enjoy hanging out with them! They can have some good clean fun and at the same time can have some really good intellectual and spiritual talks! It's amazing! God is so worthy of all our praise!
Who gave man his mouth? Who makes man blind or gives him sight? Who makes him deaf or mute? Is is not I, the Lord?! Now go, and I will be with you and teach you what to say! Exodus 4:11-12
Moses was trying to "run" from God! God had a message to deliver to people of Egypt and Moses thought he was not eloquent enough to deliver this message! God revealed to Moses than it was Himself that was going to do all the speaking and nothing of Moses! No worried for me anymore! Don't be afraid! You are not a child anymore!
Well I'm going to go and do some work! I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day!
God Bless You!
